Kang-Wei Chan

Kang-Wei Chan is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Canva since 2024, specializing in transforming designs into tangible products through Canva Print. Prior to this role, Kang-Wei held the position of Engineering Team Lead at Dovetail from 2022 to 2024, where expertise was applied in facilitating user research storage, analysis, and collaboration. From 2019 to 2022, as a Senior Software Engineer at Atlassian, Kang-Wei contributed significantly to the development of Forge, Atlassian's secure Cloud app development platform, focusing on UI Kit, Custom UI, and app performance observability. Kang-Wei earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UNSW and completed high school education at Barker College.
