Abhas Sinha

Abhas Sinha is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in various roles across prominent companies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Capital One since December 2024, Abhas previously held the position of Head of Platform Engineering at Descript from February 2023 to November 2024. Prior experience includes Engineering Manager at Meta from October 2021 to February 2023, where Abhas supported the F3 Feature Extraction and Serving team, and a series of progressive engineering roles at Houzz from April 2013 to October 2021. Abhas began a career at Lexity as a Software Engineer from April 2011 to April 2013, specializing in infrastructure development for retargeting and search campaigns. Early career experience includes strategic consulting at Tompkins Financial Corp in 2009. Abhas holds a Master’s degree in Applied Operations Research from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
