Deirdre Coyle

Deirdre Coyle is an accomplished content editor and writer with extensive experience in digital production and community engagement. Currently serving as a Content Editor at Capital One since July 2024, Deirdre has also been a Columnist for Unwinnable since August 2017, authoring the monthly column “This Mortal Coyle,” which explores both vintage and contemporary video games. As Digital Media Director for Kettle Pond Writers' Conference since January 2019, Deirdre plays a key role in community interaction. Previous positions include Digital Producer and Podcast Producer for Publishers Weekly, where Deirdre produced a newsletter for over 32,000 subscribers and several podcasts. With a background in freelance writing and editing, event organization, and metadata consultancy, Deirdre holds a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Earlham College.
