Christine S. Battist

Christine S. Battist is the Director at Capital Southwest. Christine was formerly with Avison Young and Silver Bay Homes, where they served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

Battist has extensive experience in finance, accounting, and strategic planning. Christine was a key leader during the formation and IPO of Silver Bay Homes in 2012. Christine also played a key role in multiple strategic transactions, including the acquisition of a $250M portfolio and the initiation of a $400M credit facility.

Under their leadership, the Silver Bay Homes finance department was recognized by the Star Tribune as a Top Minnesota Small Company for two consecutive years.

Christine S. Battist received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from St. Norbert College and Executive Education in the Mini MBA Program from University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business. Christine is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from Texas.
