May Wong

May Wong is a seasoned executive in the energy sector with a focus on sustainability, strategy, and analytics. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Planning & Sustainability at Capital Power since July 2009, May Wong leads efforts to drive the company towards a net-zero goal by 2045, while embedding sustainability into corporate strategies. May Wong has held various leadership positions within Capital Power, including VP roles in Strategy and Market Assessment, where responsibilities encompassed corporate and sustainability strategy development, forecasting, and analytics to support business development and financial planning. Prior experience includes roles at EPCOR, specializing in asset valuation and pricing analysis, and an analytical position at Nichols Applied Management. May Wong holds an MBA in Strategic Management from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Information Systems, Operations Management, and Marketing from the University of Alberta.
