Lou Steinberg is currently an advisor at Capri Ventures. Lou has previously served as the CEO of Rev2 Networks and the CTO of Symbol Technologies, Inc. In 2007, they were also the interim CEO of Cranite Systems.
At Rev2 Networks, Lou Steinberg was responsible for the company's overall technical strategy and execution. Lou led the development of Rev2's flagship product, which won the 2006 Technology Fast 50 Award for the New York region.
As CTO of Symbol Technologies, Lou Steinberg oversaw the company's global engineering organization and was responsible for all aspects of technology development, product planning, and technical operations. Lou also played a key role in Symbol's successful IPO in 2006.
In 2007, Lou Steinberg served as the interim CEO of Cranite Systems, a company that delivered highly secure communications technologies. Lou completed product development and launched the company's products, established channel partners, and led early market penetration.
Lou Steinberg earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Lou then went on to earn a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology as well.
