Dr. David Madoff is Professor of Radiology and Medical Oncology, Vice Chair for Clinical Research and Section Chief of Interventional Radiology at Yale School of Medicine. He is an internationally-recognized expert in Interventional Oncology, a subspecialty within Interventional Radiology (IR) that offers patients with various forms of cancer minimally invasive curative, adjuvant and palliative treatment options. Dr. Madoff is a leader in academic radiology and is an invited speaker at numerous national and international meetings. He authored or co-authored over 170 peer-reviewed scientific articles, has written more than 30 book chapters and served as co-editor of four textbooks. He currently serves on editorial boards of Cancer Biology and Medicine, Chinese Clinical Oncology, Current Oncology Reports, Hepatoma Research and Seminars in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Madoff served in many intra- and extramural leadership roles and received many honors and awards for his contributions.
