Steve Aylmer Mbcs Afciis

Steve Aylmer MBCS AfCIIS has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in both cyber security and engineering. Currently serving as a Tutor, Assistant Tutor, and Trainee Cyber Security Specialist at CAPSLOCK since March 2021, Steve is engaged in an intensive cyber security training program accredited by CIISec. Prior to this, from March 2015 to March 2021, Steve worked as a Full-Time Carer. A substantial portion of Steve's career was spent at the UK Ministry of Defence from September 1987 to March 2015, where roles included MOD Safety Communications, Safety Information Support, Policy Advisor for Environment & Energy, In-Service & Post Design Support Project Manager, and Engineering Specialist in Maritime settings. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southampton and a Higher National Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Bath College.
