Ugbaad Kosar

Ugbaad Kosar is an accomplished professional in environmental policy and justice, currently serving as the Director of Environmental Justice at Carbon180 since January 2020, after progressing through roles including Deputy Director of Policy and Senior Policy Advisor. Prior experience includes environmental and climate science roles with the City of Ottawa as an Environmental Field Technician and Famine Resistors as a Climate Science Specialist. Ugbaad has also worked as a Policy Analyst for the City of Edmonton and held graduate research positions at the University of Alberta and Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. An educational background encompasses a Master of Science in Renewable Resources from the University of Alberta and a Master of Science in Forest Sciences and Biology from The University of Freiburg, along with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Carleton University.
