Abby Birbach

Abby Birbach is an experienced operations program manager with a diverse background in engineering, project management, and marketing. At Carbon since November 2015, Abby has managed international manufacturing outsourcing, global third-party logistics, and led cross-functional teams to launch significant new product initiatives while navigating supply chain challenges. Prior roles at Carbon include overseeing marketing operations and planning, technical documentation, and training support. Abby's previous experience includes serving as a general engineer and contracting officer technical representative at Naval Sea Systems Command, where leadership of multidisciplinary teams and development of acquisition milestone documentation were key responsibilities. An educational foundation from Georgia Institute of Technology includes a BSE in Polymer and Fiber Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering.
