Hasan Kahtan

Hasan Kahtan is a seasoned academic in the field of Software Engineering, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University since January 2022. Prior to this role, Hasan held similar positions at the University of Malaya and UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PAHANG from September 2020 to February 2022 and September 2015 to August 2020, respectively. Additionally, Hasan contributed to research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia from August 2014 to August 2015 and gained teaching experience as a Part-time Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, between January 2009 and December 2011. Early career experience includes work as a Software Programmer at the Ministry of Electricity from July 2005 to August 2007. Hasan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Software Engineering and Security from Universiti Teknologi MARA, completed between January 2010 and June 2014.
