Aliza Lauter

Aliza Lauter has extensive experience in policy and advocacy, currently serving as Policy Lead and Food Systems Policy Officer at CARE since June 2021. Prior to this role, Aliza worked as a Research Intern for the Global Food Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, contributing to policy briefs and compiling news briefings. Previous positions include serving as a Study Abroad Advisor and Administrative Assistant at UC Davis Global Affairs, a Humanitarian Fellow with IsraAID in Guatemala, and various internships focused on food security and community outreach. Aliza holds a Bachelor of Science in International Agricultural Development and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of California, Davis, along with study abroad experience at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
