Karely Vanegas

Karely Vanegas is an experienced professional in program implementation and economic recovery, currently serving as Oficial Programa de Transferencias Monetarias at CARE since November 2022. Prior to this role, Karely worked with the International Rescue Committee from November 2019 to November 2022 in various positions, including Oficial del Programa de Recuperacion Economica y Desarrollo, where responsibilities included identifying partners and coordinating beneficiary selection. Earlier experience includes roles in social work at Alcaldía De San José De Cúcuta and CORPONOR, as well as positions in social promotion and training. Karely holds a degree in Social Work from Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander and has completed additional training at CALP NETWORK and Harvard Business School.
