Denel Wehrmaker

Denel Wehrmaker is an accomplished professional with extensive project management experience across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Portfolio Director at Carelon since November 2021, Denel has also held senior project management roles in enterprise data science and artificial intelligence. Prior experience includes a tenure at Anthem from August 2014 to November 2021, where Denel contributed as a senior project manager focusing on innovation, along with roles in program administration and assistance. Earlier positions include project management roles at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, GIA, and Callaway Golf. Denel pursued education in program management at UC San Diego following preliminary studies at South College focused on computer-related subjects.
