Patricia Cruz Martinez

Patricia Cruz Martinez is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in infection control and epidemiology. Currently serving as the Clinical Program Director and Infection Control Practitioner at Houston Methodist since March 2014, Patricia also operates as a CARF Surveyor for CARF International since April 2019. Prior roles include Infection Control Coordinator at the University of Michigan Health System and Infection Control Practitioner at Memorial Hermann Hospital System. Patricia's career began as an Epidemiologist at the HDHHS-City of Houston Department of Epidemiology. Patricia holds a Master's in Public Health, Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Eastern Michigan University.
