Padmakumar Pillai

Padmakumar Pillai is a seasoned professional in the field of veterinary medicine and regulatory science, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Cargill since 2020. Previously, Padmakumar Pillai held the position of Senior Regulatory Scientist at the FDA from 2006 to 2020 and worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Arkansas from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, Padmakumar Pillai contributed as an Assistant Professor at the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Kerala Agricultural University, from 1998 to 2001, and served as a Clinical Veterinarian with the Kerala State Veterinary Service from 1993 to 1998. Padmakumar Pillai holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master's degree in Veterinary Sciences from the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Kerala Agricultural University, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Arkansas.
