Mara Bryan

Mara Bryan currently serves as the Director of Program Management at Caribou Biosciences, with a progressive career at the company that includes roles as Director of Operations and Program Management, Associate Director of Operations and Program Management, and Operations Manager since January 2018. Prior to this, Mara held the position of Research Operations Manager at CalicoLabs from June 2015 to January 2018, and at the Energy Biosciences Institute, UC Berkeley, from May 2008 to June 2015, where responsibilities included managing joint laboratory facilities and overseeing significant instrumentation. Earlier experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Michigan State University from October 2004 to October 2007, focusing on steroid function and reproductive physiology in sea lampreys. Mara holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University and a B.A. in Biology from Rice University.
