Maarit Lappalainen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital supply chain management and consulting solutions, currently serving as the Head of Digital Supply Chain & Consulting Solutions at Carinafour since April 2017. Lappalainen leads a team of 15 experts focused on enhancing productivity in the project industry through innovative digital business models. Prior roles at Carinafour include Head of People Operations and Program Manager, where strategic customer projects were managed to drive digitalization in various industrial sectors. Before Carinafour, Lappalainen worked at Microsoft as a Business Program Manager and held multiple positions at Nokia over a nearly two-decade span, including Development Manager and Project Manager, emphasizing global product management and change management. Lappalainen's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Turku. Additionally, experience as a vocational teacher and journalist further contributes to Lappalainen's diverse skill set.
