Brittany Capps

Brittany Capps, PhD, currently serves as an Experience Designer and Content Strategist at CarMax and is a Group Exercise Instructor at acac Fitness & Wellness Center. Previously, Brittany held the position of Associate Manager at the Writing Center of the University of South Carolina, where responsibilities included mentoring graduate tutors and enhancing digital engagement. A strong background in academia includes experience as a Graduate Researcher and Instructor, achieving high student ratings through innovative teaching methods, and serving as a UX Researcher at HI3 Tech Lab, focusing on usability and market differentiation in AI products. Brittany's educational credentials include a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition/Writing Studies from the University of South Carolina, an MFA in Poetry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a BA in English from the University of Richmond.
