Nithya Kemp

Nithya Kemp is a highly engaged and versatile individual pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Biorobotics Lab, Nithya focuses on hard negative mining in machine learning algorithms, while also functioning as a Teaching Assistant. Previous experience includes a Software Development Engineering Internship at Amazon, where Nithya developed a method for streamlining features in the mobile shopping app, and a leadership role in logistics at ScottyLabs. Additional experience spans roles at various organizations, including data science internships and advisory positions aimed at enhancing mental health applications and community engagements in design. Nithya's educational journey began with a high school diploma from Newport Senior High School, completed in June 2021.
