Xueying Jia serves as a Teaching Assistant for the Machine Learning in Production / AI Engineering course at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on building, deploying, and maintaining applications with machine-learned models, alongside a commitment to responsible AI principles. Jia is also a Graduate Research Assistant at NUELAB, conducting research on Large Language Model alignment under the guidance of Professors Graham Neubig. Previous experience includes an AI Intern role at Sony Interactive Entertainment, where work centered on generative AI for voice generation in gaming, as well as positions as a Research Assistant in the AIOps@NKU lab, contributing to publication efforts in microservice systems, and collaborative AI product development at the Centre for Perceptual and Interactive Intelligence. Jia also interned at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, designing a cognitive assessment conversational system. Xueying Jia holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Nankai University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation at Carnegie Mellon University.
