Brian Christiansen

Brian Christiansen is an experienced photojournalist currently working at Carolinas' Own Queen City News, WJXY-TV since August 2014. Prior to this role, Brian served as a volunteer photographer for Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina from August 2013 to 2014. Brian has extensive military experience as a photojournalist with the North Carolina National Guard from December 2003 to July 2013 and as an Air Force photojournalist with the North Carolina Air National Guard from January 2000 to July 2013. Brian's education includes a Certificate of Completion in Radio and Television Broadcasting Technology from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting (2013-2014) and a Certificate in Combat Camera Team Leader Management from the Air Mobility Warfare Training Center (2006). Brian also completed training at the Defense Information School in 2000.
