Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell is an experienced media professional with a strong background in news production, currently serving as the Executive Producer at Carolinas' Own Queen City News, WJZY-TV since March 2021. Previously, Matt held the position of Executive Producer at WNCT and KCTV/KSMO/tv from January 2020 to October 2019, and maintained a long tenure at WZZM-TV as a Senior Producer from April 2005 to March 2019. Earlier career roles include newscast producing at KVBC-TV, WDRB-TV, WPTY-TV, and WREG-TV, where responsibilities encompassed story selection, crew assignments, and video editing. Matt's work has been recognized with an Emmy Award for the special coverage of the 1999 Fiesta Bowl. Matt Campbell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The University of Memphis (1990 - 1995).
