Kathleen McKenna

Kathleen McKenna is an experienced copywriter and communications professional with a diverse background in journalism and creative writing. Currently serving as a Copywriter at Cartera – A Rakuten Company since April 2022, Kathleen previously held the position of Omni-channel Copywriter at Talbots from September 2017 to April 2021. Kathleen's extensive career includes roles as a News Reporter at the Boston Globe, Copywriter at Cramer, and Copyeditor at J.Jill. Additionally, Kathleen worked as an Editor/Consultant for ZSH Literary Agency, and contributed as a columnist and reporter for South Shore Parents Magazine, where a monthly column on motherhood received awards. Early in Kathleen's career, positions included Communications Director and Corporate Writer at Avon-Europe and Avon Products, respectively. Kathleen holds a BA in Journalism and English from Indiana University and an MFA in Creative Writing from UMass Boston.
