Andrea Lawton

Andrea Lawton is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as GM of Human Resources at CARTERS since October 2019, Andrea previously held the position of Deputy Chief Executive for People, Culture & Strategy at the Ministry of Social Development from September 2018 to September 2019. Prior to that, significant tenure at Fonterra included roles such as Director of Global People Solutions and GM Employment Relations & Human Resources, among others. Additional experience includes managerial positions at The Parliamentary Service and Spark New Zealand, as well as being a Solicitor at Phillips Fox. Andrea has pursued advanced education at Harvard Business School and participated in the Breakthrough Leaders Programme for Global Women Leadership Development, following the completion of LLB/BA degrees at Victoria University of Wellington.
