Claudia Sacramento Malpica

Maryland Community Organizer Claudia Sacramento has been mobilizing in the Aspen Hill, Glenmont, and Wheaton areas since 2018. Previously, she was a promoter of the Aprendiendo Juntos (Learning Together) program from 2013 to 2015. She has been a CASA volunteer since 2011. As an organizer, she has worked on various topics including immigrant rights, tenants’ rights, and education. She has also participated in Adelante, Civic Association at Langley Park Community Center, Impact, and helped with a health survey conducted by George Washington University and the Rivera group on food. Claudia likes to work with the community and help people who are impacted by not knowing their rights. She is grateful to participate with CASA where she has learned a lot and can help others who need support.
