Vocational Education Training Coordinator Jacinta Nino joined CASA in 2007 as an employment specialist and worked at the Welcome Centers throughout Montgomery County, Maryland. She made effective use of the valuable insight provided by employers and day laborers to improve the quality and accuracy of CASA’s vocational program. This guided her in a successful transition to the role of the vocational coordinator in 2013. Jacinta works alongside the local government and community colleges to promote and offer various vocational courses to the community. Her vast experiences in her many roles at CASA give her a deep appreciation for the community. She continues to expand her skills working closely with students and teachers. Jacinta is a native of Cartagena Colombia. Jacinta is fluent in English and Spanish. She has a passion for being outdoors and likes to hike, bike, and kayak. ‘See you in the woods!’
