Mike Chang

Mike Chang is a Senior Associate at Cascadia Consulting Group. Mike previously worked as a Climate Adaptation Specialist for the Makah Tribe from October 2015 to December 2019. In this role, they led a group to write the Makah Climate Vulnerability Assessment and the Makah Climate Adaptation and Implementation Plan. Mike also conducted surveys and interviews regarding community climate change concerns and knowledge, and represented the Makah Tribe for West Coast Ocean Partnership and the West Coast Regional Planning Body.

Mike Chang has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a Master of Science in Marine Affairs, both from the University of Washington. Mike was a Research Assistant at the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs from January 2014 to September 2015.

Mike Chang has a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington, with a focus in Marine Science and Policy. Mike also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Yale University. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in a study abroad program in Marine Biology at James Cook University. Mike also did a study abroad program in Marine and Coastal Management at Boston University School for Field Studies in the Turks and Caicos.
