Vanessa Spagnoli

Vanessa Spagnoli is an experienced public policy professional currently serving as the CA Director of Public Policy at Casey Family Programs since April 2022, focusing on reducing the need for foster care across the United States. Prior to this role, Vanessa served as the Policy Director at Hispanas Organized for Political Equality, where advocacy efforts were aimed at uplifting Latinas in California. Vanessa's previous experience includes significant contributions as the Deputy Director of Policy & Training at California Youth Connection, where youth-led advocacy campaigns were successfully executed, and as the Statewide Legislative Coordinator, promoting legislation relevant to foster care. Additionally, Vanessa participated as a Fellow in the New Leaders Council, aimed at fostering progressive leadership among Millennials.
