Mark Ashby

Mark Ashby serves as Chair of the Governance, Nomination, and Remuneration Committee and Non-Executive Director at Cash Converters. As a Non-Executive Director and Interim CEO of Direct Group Pty Ltd since March 2023, and Chairman of Office Choice Ltd from November 2022, Mark is actively engaged in governance roles across various organizations. Additionally, Mark is a Founding Partner at CM Knights, leveraging expertise in debt restructuring, strategic planning, and exit strategies across U.S. and Asian markets. As Managing Director of Finspec since September 2017, Mark advises public and private company boards on financial structures, IPOs, and capital raising. Mark's previous roles include leadership positions at Thomas Jewellers, EZCORP, MYER, Mitre 10, and Motorola Australia. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Swinburne University of Technology and is associated with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
