Mara G. Aspinall

Mara G. Aspinall has served as a member of the board of directors since February 2015. Ms. Aspinall has served as Managing Director of BlueStone Venture Partners, a life science-focused venture capital firm, since December 2017. Since June 2014, Ms. Aspinall has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Health Catalysts Group, a consulting firm that focuses on the growth of early-stage life science and technology companies. From September 2011 until June 2014, Ms. Aspinall served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ventana Medical Systems and the Global Head of Roche Tissue Diagnostics, a global leader in the development and commercialization of tissue-based cancer diagnostics. Prior to 2011, Ms. Aspinall served as President of Genzyme Pharmaceuticals and Genzyme Genetics. Ms. Aspinall currently serves as a director of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Orasure Technologies, and UK-based company Abcam plc., along with other privately-held healthcare technology and medical insurance companies. Ms. Aspinall holds a B.A. degree in International Relations from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
