Gordon Ashton

Gordon Ashton has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as Site Head and General Manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions since July 2021, with responsibility for multisite P&L related to drug product development and manufacturing. Prior to this role, Gordon held various senior leadership positions at Anika Therapeutics from February 2008 to July 2021, including Executive Director of Manufacturing, where oversight of operations contributed to substantial revenue growth. Gordon also served as Director of Aseptic Manufacturing, overseeing critical drug product production processes. Earlier experiences include directorships at Acusphere, Repligen Corporation, and Biotransplant Inc., focusing on manufacturing, process development, and quality control across multiple high-stakes projects. Gordon began the professional career at Zimmer Biomet / Etex as a Manufacturing Supervisor. Educationally, Gordon holds a degree from Northeastern University, completed in 1994.
