Newt Edgar

Newt Edgar has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and medical sales industries, currently serving as a Regional Account Manager at Catalyst Pharmaceuticals since January 2019. Previously, Newt held several key roles, including Neuroscience Account Executive for AbbVie, where responsibilities included the sales and service of Duopa for advanced Parkinson's disease. Additional experience includes working as a Key Account Manager at Lundbeck Inc., focusing on movement disorder accounts, and roles in sales at Adolor, Ipsen, Vernalis, and Pfizer, with a strong emphasis on neuromuscular and psychiatric medicines. Newt began a career in finance as a Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch and served as a US Marine Officer, attaining the rank of Captain. Newt holds a BA in Economics from Auburn University and a CMR certification in Science and Medicine.
