Alex Moon

Alex Moon is a Senior Business Development Associate at Catch Co. Prior to joining Catch Co., Alex worked as a Research Analyst at Ellwood Associates from June 2015 to August 2019. In this role, Alex was responsible for analyzing and evaluating client portfolios to ensure investment allocations align with their risk tolerance, liquidity needs, and other requirements and restrictions. Alex also led defined benefit analysis efforts amongst analysts, advanced, updated and maintained defined benefit models monthly, and provided training on defined benefit plan clients for new analysts.

From May 2014 to August 2014, Alex interned with The Walsh Group in their Infrastructure Investment department. In this role, Alex was responsible for conducting quarterly surveillance and analysis on Ellwood’s list of qualified U.S. Growth equity managers along with qualified private Real Estate managers. Alex also attended manager research conferences and set up calls to gain exposure on evolving U.S. Growth equity and Real Estate mangers and survey potential qualifying funds.

Alex Moon received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Business Economics from Marquette University. Alex also has a High School Diploma from Oak Park & River Forest High School. Alex Moon is currently pursuing a degree in Economics, International Business at Peking University.
