Sandeep Mylavarapu

Sandeep Mylavarapu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) engineering and marketing consultancy. Currently serving as a Marketing Consultant and Sound Validation Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. since July 2012, Sandeep has contributed to multiple new product introduction (NPI) programs aimed at achieving NVH targets through effective testing and simulation methods. Additionally, Sandeep has been an Alumni Coach at IDEO U since September 2020. Previous roles include Test Engineer at Belcan, where involvement focused on NVH testing for earth moving and mining machinery, and Graduate Teaching/Research Assistant at Wayne State University, conducting research in Acoustics Vibration & Noise Control. Earlier career experiences also include serving as Deputy Manager at Ashok Leyland, focusing on ride comfort and NVH testing, and as Engineer in Advanced Engineering for Brakes India Limited, developing disc brakes for motorcycles. Sandeep holds a Master's degree from Wayne State University and a Bachelor's degree from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.
