Sean McGinnis

Sean McGinnis serves as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and General Manager of MineStar Technology at Caterpillar Inc., having been with the company since July 1999. McGinnis has held multiple leadership roles, including Product Manager for MineStar Solutions where 13 products were developed and marketed. Achievements include earning the 2019 CEO Innovation Award and leading teams that achieved record sales and profit goals. McGinnis is known for driving ambitious revenue targets and developing strategic go-to-market plans, alongside extensive experience in product development, commercialization, and budget management. McGinnis holds a Master’s degree in Technology Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota Mines.
