Desirae Butler

Desirae Butler is the current Director at Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Prior to their current position, Desirae worked as a Senior Manager of Risk at Synchrony from January 2015 to December 2017. In their role at Synchrony, Desirae was responsible for developing risk assessment methodology, tools, and executive reporting to identify potential risks and ensure business practices meet regulatory requirements. Desirae also led a staff of Risk Managers in the execution of metric driven disciplined risk & control self-assessments across the Enterprise.

At Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Desirae is responsible for providing guidance and support to help those in need, with a focus on those who are struggling with poverty, homelessness, and addiction. Desirae is dedicated to their work and is always looking for ways to improve the lives of those they serve.

Desirae Butler received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware - Lerner College of Business and Economics. Desirae then went on to receive their Masters in Accounting from Wright State University.
