Olaf Westermann

Olaf Westermann is a Senior Technical Adviser in Climate Change at Catholic Relief Services since August 2016, bringing extensive experience in climate change and environmental management. Previously, Olaf served as a Senior Consultant at CCAFS and held the position of Senior Advisor in Protected Area Management at DANIDA, focusing on community development, poverty, gender issues, and strategic planning. Olaf's career includes academic roles as a PhD candidate at the Danish Institute for International Studies and a Research Fellow at the International Center for Tropical Agriculture, where expertise encompassed natural resource management, stakeholder analysis, and capacity building. Olaf earned a PhD in Development Planning and Environment from Roskilde University.
