Holden Ramey

Holden Ramey is from Northeast Colorado where he grew up in his family’s farming and ranching operation. Holden remains active in the family operation running both commercial and registered cattle. Holden attended Northeastern Junior College where he competed on the livestock judging team and received associate’s degrees in animal science and agricultural business. Holden continued on to Colorado State University. While at Colorado State, Holden was a member of the livestock judging team. Holden received a bachelor’s degree in animal science and agricultural business in the fall of 2018. He then went to work for Five Rivers Cattle Feeding at the Kuner Feedlot. Holden received a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Colorado State in the spring of 2022. His graduate research focused on margin analysis and risk management in the cattle feeding sector.

Holden joined CattleFax as an analyst in January of 2022. His primary responsibilities include research and analysis focusing on cattle and poultry markets.

Holden enjoys attending cattle shows and sales and traveling across the country.
