Linda Garcia

Linda Garcia is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Executive Director of The Center for Community College Student Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin since February 2016, having also held the position of Assistant Director. Prior experience includes Vice President of Community College Relations at National American University and Assistant Dean of Centers at Lone Star College-North Harris. Additional roles encompass various positions within academia, consultancy, and educational services, including serving as an adjunct instructor at Bellevue University and Program Manager for Educational Services at Lone Star College - Tomball. Linda Garcia holds a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Brownsville, and a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
