Abyot Woyessa

Abyot Woyessa is an experienced public health professional with a strong background in epidemiology and research. Currently serving as a Technical Consultant at the CDC Foundation since January 2020, Abyot has previously worked as a Field Epidemiology Consultant on the Stop Transmission of Polio initiative with the World Health Organization from July 2017 to June 2019. Between September 2007 and June 2017, Abyot contributed as a Researcher at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute. Abyot holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Field Epidemiology from Addis Ababa University.
