Sharonjit Sagoo

Sharonjit Sagoo, PharmD, AAHIVP, CPH, is a seasoned health professional currently serving as a Health Scientist (Syndemics Coordinator) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since June 2023. Sharonjit has been a Pharmacist (Per Diem) at Whitman-Walker Health since May 2015 and has held various positions within the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps as a Lieutenant Commander since October 2011. Additional experience includes serving as a Public Health Analyst at the Health Resources and Services Administration from January 2020 to June 2023, Executive Program and Project Management Staff at the FDA from June 2017 to January 2020, and Public Health Advisor at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration from September 2016 to June 2017. Earlier roles include a Regulatory Project Manager at the FDA and a Pharmacist at Walgreens Pharmacy in 2010. Sharonjit holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Chemistry from The University of Kansas.
