Orise Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Office Of Health Equity at CDC

Zoe Freggens, PhD, currently serves as an ORISE Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention within the Office of Minority Health & Health Equity since April 2022. Additionally, Zoe Freggens is an Adjunct Professor at Columbus State Community College and a Research Scholar at the Ronin Institute. Previous experience includes the role of Education Manager at Equitas Health, where responsibility encompassed the development and promotion of the LGBTQ+ Health Education Curriculum. As a Research Associate at The Ohio State University, Zoe Freggens managed program data for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Sociology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Salem College.
