Lance Estep

Lance Estep, AICP, is a seasoned professional in transportation planning with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Transportation Planner at CDM Smith since July 2023, Lance has previously held the position of Planning Director at the Appalachian Council of Governments from September 2014 to July 2023. Prior experience includes Director of Planning and Code Compliance for the County of Greenville (March 2013 - August 2014), Community Development Director for the City of Greenville, TX (August 2009 - March 2013), and Travel Demand Modeler at Kimley-Horn and the County of Greenville. Lance began the career as a City Planner for the City of Georgetown and holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Land Use Planning and Management from East Tennessee State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the same institution.
