Trustee Roache-Davis is very familiar with Cedar Hill ISD as a Principal at five different CHISD campuses – both elementary and secondary - between 2002-2017.
Roache-Davis was the first principal at Lake Ridge Elementary when it opened its doors in 2002. She served there until 2007 when she became the Principal at Permenter Middle School, from 2007-2012. Roache-Davis then served as Principal of Bray Elementary (2012-2013), Bessie Coleman Middle School (2013-2014), and the Ninth Grade Center (2014-2017). In 2007, Roache-Davis was the CHISD Administrator of the Year.
Roache-Davis earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and an education specialist degree from Nova University, also in Florida, in Administration and Supervision. Her Master’s Degree, from Florida Atlantic University, was in Guidance & Counseling. Roache-Davis earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Kentucky State University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.
Prior to arriving at CHISD, Roache-Davis served as a principal in Fort Worth ISD and Palm Beach County, Florida. She worked in Palm Beach County, Florida schools as a teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, and principal from 1978-1998. Roache-Davis began her career as a teacher at Booker T. Washington Elementary School in Lexington, Kentucky from 1976-1978.
Roache-Davis has served on multiple CHISD Committees, including the Elementary and Kindergarten Report Card Committees and the District Calendar Committee. She is involved in numerous Cedar Hill and Dallas organizations, including the Cedar Hill Lions Club.
Roache-Davis is a member of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church as well as an Education Committee Member at the church.
