Jim Parton

Jim Parton is an experienced Aftercare Specialist and Certified Celebrant at Cedar Memorial, serving since 2009, where responsibilities include collaborating with grieving families to plan Celebrations of Life services and performing graveside rituals. Prior to this, Jim held administrative support roles at Bear Community from 1995 to 2016 and was an active member of the LGBT community during the same period. Additionally, Jim contributed to public education as a teacher from 1977 to 2007. Jim's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
