Christian-Erik Thoeny

Christian-Erik Thoeny serves as the President of the Board of Directors and Co-Owner of CEDES, a company specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and marketing of sensor systems and AI-based IoT data sources since February 2013. Additionally, Thoeny acts as Group CEO for CEDES, overseeing the development of optoelectronic sensors and systems for various applications, including elevators, entrance automation, and robotics. Thoeny's experience includes advisory board participation at CSEM and board membership at CabTec Group since 2018. Previously, Thoeny held managerial roles at Bucher Hydraulics and ESEC SA, where responsibilities included research and development and product direction. Thoeny's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with an Advanced Management Programme certificate from INSEAD.
