Nelson Marin Guerretta

Nelson Marin Guerretta has extensive laboratory experience, currently serving as Coordenador de Laboratório and Supervisor de Laboratório at CEIMIC since January 2013, overseeing the fuel and pesticide laboratories. Key responsibilities include the revision and updating of Standard Operating Procedures, training new analysts, and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance of Gas Chromatographs. Nelson is proficient in analyzing various environmental samples, adhering to multiple EPA methods for pesticide, PCB, BTEX, alcohols, total petroleum hydrocarbons, and total organic carbon analyses. Prior to this, Nelson worked as an Analista Químico at Clariant from December 2011 to January 2013 and began as an Estagiário. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from USP (2006-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the School of Economics, Business and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (2018-2021).
