Dongfang Hu

Dongfang Hu is a Bioinformatics Manager and Computational Biologist at Cellecta, Inc., since September 2021, with prior experience as a Bioinformatics Engineer at Novogene Corporation from September 2019 to September 2021. At Novogene, responsibilities included developing, maintaining, and operating bioinformatics pipelines using open-source software, Python, R packages, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, shell scripting, MySQL, MongoDB, and workflow description language (WDL). Dongfang Hu also served as a Research Assistant at Louisiana State University from August 2012 to May 2019 while completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from Northwest A&F University (2009-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Plant Protection and Integrated Pest Management from the same institution (2005-2009).
