Cynthia Chen

Cynthia Chen is a Senior Research Associate at Cellsonics Inc. since August 2024, focusing on developing and optimizing tissue dissociation protocols for flow cytometry and scRNA-seq. Previously, Cynthia served as Scientist 2 at Genentech, emphasizing collaboration in basic research and drug development related to single-cell genomics, and as Research Associate II at 10x Genomics, gaining hands-on experience with various single-cell products. Additionally, Cynthia has contributed to research projects at Complete Genomics Inc., UCLA, and other organizations, demonstrating expertise in RNA sequencing, cardiac development in zebrafish models, and educational assistance in bioengineering laboratories. Cynthia holds a Master of Science and Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UCLA.
